How to Enable or Disable Dark Mode in Google Chrome

Google Chrome now has a built-in feature that can enable dark mode. But if you have old version of Chrome then you should go for other option to Enable Dark Mode. It will force Chrome into dark mode even if Windows 10’s default app mode is set to “light.”

To activate this, find the shortcut of Google Chrome located at the Desktop or Taskbar shortcut. Follow the steps shown below:

  • Right-click the Chrome shortcut and select “Properties” (For a Chrome taskbar shortcut, right-click the taskbar icon, right-click “Google Chrome,” and select “Properties”)
  • Click on box located in front of Target
  • Now head to the end of the line then type --force-dark-mode 
  • Now hit Apply and Ok
Now need to restart Chrome Browser in order to take effect the changes. And after that you will see the Dark Mode in Google Chrome

How to Enable or Disable Tablet Mode in Windows 10 Laptop

Many laptops that comes today have touchscreen capabilities. This ability to interact with your computer can make every tasks much easier.

But if it seems like your Windows 10 computer isn't optimized for a touchscreen, then you may not have the Tablet Mode setting turned on.

How to Stop Desktop Push Notifications in Opera Browser

Whenever you open websites in web browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or on any other web browser, some websites show a pop-up message asking for permission to send you notifications. These notifications are called web push notifications and are used by popular websites to notify their regular visitors about every new published articles, etc.

Opera and Google Chrome browsers provide you 2 buttons in the pop-up: Allow and Block. If you want to get the Notifications on your desktop then you have to click on Allow button, this will automatically send you Web Push Notifications. But if you don't want to get disturb by these notifications then you should click on Block button. But if you mistakenly allowed any website to send you Notifications or you want to Block notifications later then you have to follow few steps to Disable Push Notifications in Opera.

Follow the steps below to Disable Push Notifications in Opera Browser:
  • Press Alt + P together in order to open settings menu
  • Now scroll down to bottom of the page then click on Advanced
  • Click on Content Settings under Privacy and security
  • Now click on Notifications
  • There you will find some web links which you allowed earlier to send you Push Notifications, Remove them all
Now you are no longer see Web Notifications on your Desktop.

How to Change Double Click to Single Click to Open Files, Folders in Windows 10

Sometimes I wonder, why we do double click, when clicking once can carry out the same result!? One of the primary things I do after installing Windows 10, is to change the double click to open setting to single-click.

Follow the steps below to change Double Click to Single Click in Windows 10:
  1. Go to "This PC" 
  2. Then click on "View" ==> "Options"
  3. Now click on "Single-click to open an item (point to select)", under Click items as follows
  4. Now click on "Apply" and OK, to apply settings.

How to Enable or Disable Double Click in Windows 10

By default, Windows allows you to open files, folders or applications with a double click (left button). If you’re tired of double-tapping on your mouse or touchpad, you can enable single click to open folders or files. In this tutorial we’ll show you how to change from double click to single click to open folders/files in Windows 10.

Follow the steps shown below to Enable Single Click in Windows 10

  • Type folder options into the Cortana Search box, and then click on it
  • On the General tab in Folder Options, enable the option Single-click to open an item (point to select).
  • Click Apply then OK to save the settings.
Now, when you move your mouse over a folder or file, it will underline the icon title and you can open it with a single click. And you can now open any file with Single Click
