Google Chrome now has a built-in feature that can enable dark mode. But if you have old version of Chrome then you should go for other option to Enable Dark Mode. It will force Chrome into dark mode even if Windows 10’s default app mode is set to “light.”

To activate this, find the shortcut of Google Chrome located at the Desktop or Taskbar shortcut. Follow the steps shown below:

  • Right-click the Chrome shortcut and select “Properties” (For a Chrome taskbar shortcut, right-click the taskbar icon, right-click “Google Chrome,” and select “Properties”)
  • Click on box located in front of Target
  • Now head to the end of the line then type --force-dark-mode
  • Now hit Apply and Ok
Now need to restart Chrome Browser in order to take effect the changes. And after that you will see the Dark Mode in Google Chrome
